Pink Shirt Day

We have made this blog to raise awareness to accept others. People all over the world are getting judged in different ways and aren't getting accepted.

An example: "Sea Of Pink" aka Pink Shirt Day:

A grade 9 boy at Central Kings Rural High School in the small community of Cambridge wore a pink polo shirt on his first day of school. He got bullied for wearing a pink shirt and was threatened.
Two Grade 12 students, David Shepherd and Travis Price, heard the news about the grade 9 boy and decided to take action and help solve the problem.

When we heard this story we agree with the grade 12 boys and feel it is unfair that people are treated this way.

Please think about this post and help make a difference in the world today! :)

  1. Taylor,

We have celebrated "Sea of Pink" for a few years at our school and it is amazing! The best part about the story is that the idea came from students wanting to help others. Hopefully the message will spread and everyone will learn to accept and appreciate everyone.

    Thanks for blogging!
